CONSTRUCTION Project

The Construction program is for those volunteers who are interested in the planning and manual labor aspect of volunteering. Below are the constructional projects; and mostly buildings: They include the following:

  • School blocks

  • Library

  • Refurbishing of depleted buildings

  • Painting Roofing and many more under the project.

  • Clinics

  • Community recreational centers

Most volunteers see this as an adventure .There is lots of fun working together with local people working on building projects such as schools, clinics, health centers, market centers etc. Volunteering in construction programs are challenging. Can you pound a nail, swing a paint brush, or plant a flower? Men and women who enjoy working outdoors or with their hands can assist with building, repairing and painting facilities. You can also help clear park land, plant community gardens, dig wells, construct clean water systems, and install playground equipment and more.

Anyone who is in good physical condition can assist with these projects, as there are both light and heavy labor options. Ability to do hard work is needed but knowledge/skill in building and construction is much needed. Building & Construction students, contractors, Engineers etc are very much welcome.
