NBBC FUND
Needy But Brilliant Child (NBBC) Fund is a long term Rural Development Educational fund instituted by the organisation to address the pressing educational needs of rural education in the rural villages of Ghana by supporting brilliant students financially on a long term basis.
A survey conducted shows that educational raw materials in terms of humans indicate that most brilliant people come from the rural communities in Ghana. This is our moving force to fetch the globe those brilliant students left untouched in the villages in the Republic of Ghana. This is the main reason why we have education and rural community developmental projects among other programs we undertake.
Students who become lucky to this educational fund will have a long term relationship with Global-Cultural Solution in a way of financial support to realize their dreams of better education.
WHY THIS FUND?
As part of our contribution to national and global development as a non-profit making organisation, we have introduced this fund to help the educational problems of rural communities. As the adage goes, education is the key to development and it contributes a greater portion to national and global development. For a country’s economy to grow steadfastly depends mostly on education.
That is the more reason why people in big positions mostly are learned and educated. We want to concentrate more on rural education because the raw materials there are yet to be developed into finished products.
FORM OF THE FUND
The educational fund would be in a form of sponsorship to support the education of needy but brilliant students in rural communities. It would be on our rural community developmental project when only deprived children benefit from the fund. Education in Africa has been an unproportional kind of a system where the rich are always ahead of the poor. It has also been centered in the urban areas of Africa and Ghana is not an exception.
You can bear with us that rural students drop out early from school due to the syndrome of “mister no money” or lack of teachers (the disease of trained teachers’ refusal to teach in the villages). All this attitudes retard growth of a nation.
DIRECTOR-GENERAL’S TESTIMONY
When I got the chance to further my education at the senior high level, there was this student I met in my class from ‘a rural village’ in the Northern Region of Ghana and the information I gathered at that time was that he was from a poor family and he getting to this far was by a kind person from nowhere. He was admitted as a boarding-student but had to be a day-student due to the fact that the man couldn’t pay for his boarding stay fees. He had no option than to stay with someone nearer to the school campus.
Frankly and in reality, this boy took the first position from the beginning of our first year first term till we completed our three (3) year programme in business studies not that the others were not good but he was better. He was awarded the usual government bursary (scholarship) and then had the chance to be with us in the boarding stay (house) and he paid no school fees for the three year duration programme. He passed so well in the final (external exams) and got admission to offer Administration (Bachelor) at University of Ghana the following year. This boy was a raw material processed into finished product. There are so many of them to be processed and this is our moving force to tap them one by one.
HOW THE FUND WOULD BE
It would be used to support brilliant children from the rural villages as already stated. The sponsorship package for lucky children would commence from the Senior High Level of education to any of the following by choice of the student/grade;
-
Teacher Training colleges
-
Nursing Training colleges
-
Polytechnics
-
Universities
-
Other institutions
This is a dream come true fund introduced fund by Global-Cultural Solution, and we cannot do it alone so we encourage every individual, corporate firms, funding organisations and you as a volunteer to willingly donate to this fund.
Remember your One Ghana Cedi (GH¢1.00), your One Dollar ($1.00), your One Euro (€1.00) and your One Pound sterling (£1.00) would educate a child and also bring hope to deprived people in our rural communities. “Lets all continue to build churches in our hearts and our congregations would be uncountable”.
